  For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift…. —  Ephesians 2:8   Dear Father in Heaven, Through you, we are saved. Only through You are we saved! What a blessing beyond measure to have confidence that your love and grace has covered all of our sins. What assurance we have that we will one day come to your side in heaven and live in glory with you for eternity. We praise your glorious name for your good works, love, and peace that you give us. Although we sin much and deserve punishment, you have loved us anyway. Father, please forgive us of our sins and bring us to true repentance in your Son's name. May we always be humble and grateful for the sacrifice Jesus made for us. Thank you Father for keeping our community safe. So far, Lord, our families homes and lives have been spared from the fires and from COVID. In a world that seems to lack peace, we know that you hold the entire universe in the palm of your hand and in perfect, ordained peace. While you give us peace, we do not always rest in that peace.
