Abounding in Love

"You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you." Psalm 86:5 O Lord, our Lord: How majestic is your name in all the earth. How wonderful are your works and your love. We praise you for your goodness, mercy, and love. Your creation displays your glory and we are in awe of your greatness. Because we fall short of what we should do and who we should be, we call out to you. In humility, we call out and ask for your forgiveness and mercy. In great love you call us out of our darkness and into your arms. We are so thankful for your love! Thank you Lord for all of your mercies, which are new each morning. Thank you for your care and concern for us. Thank you for the many, many blessings that you bestow on us each day. Thank you for St. John's students, staff, families, and those we have yet to reach, but are calling into our presence. Lord, please continue to bless our church and school. Continue to send us staff who love you and proclaim your name.

Go and make disciples!

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 Dear Jesus, All authority has been given to you and we praise you for your power and dominion over all things. We are your children and you take care of us like a loving father. We give you all thanks and praise for your love and mercy in our lives. You command us, Jesus, to go into all the world and proclaim your name. We fail to do this as you want. Please forgive us our sins and and help us to always show you and your name to all we meet. You love us with an everlasting love and show us endless grace. Thank you for always forgiving us. Thank you Jesus for Lutheran schools. As we celebrate Lutheran Schools Week, we thank you

We love you for bringing the light of salvation to the world and giving us your only son Jesus. We do not labor in vain, but work for you, to further your Kingdom!
