God is our Strength!
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging." Psalm 46:1-3
Dear Father and Creator of the universe,
Father God, you are mighty to save and the only source of our strength. Although the earth has a multitude of problems, you provide all of the solutions and strength that we need. May the eyes of the earth look to you for their strength and faith. Let our fears be calmed as we reside in your arms.
We sin much and deserve your punishment; however, you have provided your Son Jesus to love us and atone for our sins. We THANK you for your great love and care over us. May we ever be humble in your in the shadow of your love and protection.
Thank you Father for the mercies that spring new each day. We especially thank you for our first day of school. Thank you for the blessing of children and families that we can serve each day. Thank you for teachers who serve selflessly and professionally.
We humbly come before you Father and ask that you keep us safe and bless us with health. In the midst of this pandemic, may you keep us safe in your arms. Please bless our families and keep them all happy and healthy throughout this school year. Be with our families who are learning at home, at school, and in childcare. May they be blessed in every measure! Father, we also ask that, if it is your will, to get our school back to in-class learning quickly. May our waiver be granted.
We ask all of this in your holy and precious name. Amen!
