Sing to the Lord

Psalm 96

1 Sing to the Lord a new song;
    sing to the Lord, all the earth.
2 Sing to the Lord, praise his name;
    proclaim his salvation day after day.
3 Declare his glory among the nations,
    his marvelous deeds among all peoples.

Father in Heaven,

We sing to you, Lord of Heaven and earth. We sing of your marvelous deeds and love for all of your creation. What a wonderful God and Father you are!

We confess our sins to you, Father. We humbly come before you and ask for your forgiveness.

Thank you Father for you goodness and mercy toward us. Thank you for always being there for us when we need you. Thank you for your blessings on SJLS families and teachers and pastors.

We ask you to continue to heal those who are struggling with health issues. Please be with our 7th graders who are in Catalina in outdoor education this week. Keep them safe and sound all week. Be with our teachers, pastor and staff who keep the school and church running each and every day. Continue to give us your rich blessing!

Perfect Love!

In these uncertain times, grant us your peace and comfort that will pass all of our understanding. Amidst the coronavirus, may Your name be exhausted and hailed above all others. While some turn to fear, may we turn to You, Father. Above all else, may our minds and hearts be turned to you. Father, we implore you to turn this virus around and eradicate it.
