Thanksgiving and Prayer

"15 For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, 16 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers." Ephesians 1:15-16

 Dear Heavenly Father,

 You are the fountain and source of all goodness. Praise to you for your love for us and all creation. In your creation you show your goodness and power and we are forever thankful for your providence over us and working good for us through all circumstances.

 We thank you for the gift of salvation, the gifts of family and the gift of school. At St. John's we can marvel in all three of those wonderful gifts! Thank you for the many blessings we see and participate in each day as the school year winds down. Thank you for the families who come to celebrate, the students to are excited and the teachers who plan and execute the fun!

 Dear Father, please be with all of those who are sick and need your healing hand. Be with those who are hurting. Bring comfort to them. Be with those who are feeling sad or depressed and bring them joy!

 We commend all this into your hands, Father. In your Son's name we pray! Amen!

Build Them Up

"Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up." Romans 15:2 Dear Jesus, You build us up so that we can build others up. We praise you for your love and saving grace for us daily. May we use that love and grace to do good in our communities and to our neighbors. We want to transform the world in your name and for your glory. Jesus please forgive us our sins and provide us with a clear conscious that we may live in your love. Help us to avoid the traps of the devil and seek your face at all times. Thank you loving Savior for all of your goodness and mercy toward St. John's and our entire community. Thank you for keeping us safe and providing so many blessings. Be with us and continue to bless us throughout the end of the school year and beyond.
