Grace!

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8-9

 Dear Father,

 In your eternal wisdom you have blessed us with many gifts. May our gifts here be used to give you glory and honor in all that we do!

 Although you love us with a perfect love, Father, we fall short and sin daily. Please forgive us when we do wrong and give us a new spirit of hope each day.

 We THANK YOU for all that you give us and all that we have. Thank you for the opportunities to hear your Word each day and to sing your praises. Thank you for the opportunities to sing in church each Sunday and proclaim your good deeds!

 Please be with us and all Lutheran schools this week. Bless our reach into the community and our global message of the Gospel. Bless St. John's and keep us safe!

 We pray this all in your precious name, Amen!

Build Them Up

"Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up." Romans 15:2 Dear Jesus, You build us up so that we can build others up. We praise you for your love and saving grace for us daily. May we use that love and grace to do good in our communities and to our neighbors. We want to transform the world in your name and for your glory. Jesus please forgive us our sins and provide us with a clear conscious that we may live in your love. Help us to avoid the traps of the devil and seek your face at all times. Thank you loving Savior for all of your goodness and mercy toward St. John's and our entire community.
