Sing to the Lord

Psalm 96

1 Sing to the Lord a new song;
    sing to the Lord, all the earth.
2 Sing to the Lord, praise his name;
    proclaim his salvation day after day.
3 Declare his glory among the nations,
    his marvelous deeds among all peoples.

Father in Heaven,

We sing to you, Lord of Heaven and earth. We sing of your marvelous deeds and love for all of your creation. What a wonderful God and Father you are!

We confess our sins to you, Father. We humbly come before you and ask for your forgiveness.

Thank you Father for you goodness and mercy toward us. Thank you for always being there for us when we need you. Thank you for your blessings on SJLS families and teachers and pastors.

We ask you to continue to heal those who are struggling with health issues. Please be with our 7th graders who are in Catalina in outdoor education this week. Keep them safe and sound all week. Be with our teachers, pastor and staff who keep the school and church running each and every day. Continue to give us your rich blessing!

Build Them Up

"Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up." Romans 15:2 Dear Jesus, You build us up so that we can build others up. We praise you for your love and saving grace for us daily. May we use that love and grace to do good in our communities and to our neighbors. We want to transform the world in your name and for your glory. Jesus please forgive us our sins and provide us with a clear conscious that we may live in your love. Help us to avoid the traps of the devil and seek your face at all times. Thank you loving Savior for all of your goodness and mercy toward St. John's and our entire community.
