Keep you from Harm

The Lord will keep you from all harm—
    he will watch over your life;
8 the Lord will watch over your coming and going
    both now and forevermore. Psalm 121:7-8

 Dear Father in Heaven,

 Father we praise and thank you for your gracious protection over us in our lives. We know that your love surrounds us and keep us in your care always. You are amazing and we praise your name!

 Merciful Father, we fall short of what we are supposed to do each day. Please forgive us our sins and renew our hearts through your willing spirit.

 Creator, we are so thankful for your divine and all-consuming love for us. We thank you for your protection and care over our St. John's community and families. Thank you for always loving us!

 Father God, please continue to be with all of those around us who are sick. Heal them. Please be with our 8th grader who had his appendix out. Bring him back to us soon and healthy. Please guard us as we have this heat and fire weather. Please keep us all safe and in your loving arms.

 We love you Jesus! Amen!

Build Them Up

"Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up." Romans 15:2 Dear Jesus, You build us up so that we can build others up. We praise you for your love and saving grace for us daily. May we use that love and grace to do good in our communities and to our neighbors. We want to transform the world in your name and for your glory. Jesus please forgive us our sins and provide us with a clear conscious that we may live in your love. Help us to avoid the traps of the devil and seek your face at all times. Thank you loving Savior for all of your goodness and mercy toward St. John's and our entire community.
