God's Chosen

12 "Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience," Colossians 3:12


Dear Heavenly Father,

What a marvelous God you are! You have chosen us, created us, and loved us as your own children. We are in awe of your love and blessings to us each day. May we ever grow closer to you each day.

You are the author and perfecter of life. We are sinful. We confess our sins to you and humbly come before you to receive your forgiveness and love. Thank you Father for your love and forgiveness offered to us freely.

Father, thank you for always showing us the way. May our footsteps be filled with kind hearts, humble minds, and patience hands as we receive your blessings. Thank you for offering all of this freely through your Son Jesus!

We are SO THANKFUL Father that you have blessed us with a new school year. We are eager to have learning at home and at school. Please provide a special hedge of protection around all St. John's families as we get back to school in each setting we have chosen. Heal those that are sick and as it is your will, bring about an end of the Coronavirus. Continue to heal our world and shower us with your love!

In your powerful name we pray, Amen!

"Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up." Romans 15:2 Dear Jesus, You build us up so that we can build others up. We praise you for your love and saving grace for us daily. May we use that love and grace to do good in our communities and to our neighbors. We want to transform the world in your name and for your glory. Jesus please forgive us our sins and provide us with a clear conscious that we may live in your love. Help us to avoid the traps of the devil and seek your face at all times. Thank you loving Savior for all of your goodness and mercy toward St. John's and our entire community.
