Delight in Him

"Trouble and distress have come upon me, but your commands give me delight."  Psalm 119:143


Dear Jesus,

We delight in you because you delight in us. You have called us out of the muck and mire of sin and into your glorious inheritance. We praise and thank you for all that you have done and continue to do for us through your great love.

While we were still sinners you called us and made us your own. We are thankful for your salvation, freely offered through your sacrifice. Lord continue to make us clean through your love.

Thank you Jesus for always being our savior and calling us before we were even knit in our mother's womb. Thank you for loving us, even though we don't deserve it. Thank you for caring for us, even when we don't ask. You are the ultimate life-giver and we couldn't be more thankful for the blessings you offer us!

We ask Lord Jesus that you continue to sustain us and keep us strong. We tire while working in this world, but we wait for you to reveal yourself. Continue to keep our zeal for You strong and lead us in the ways that you see fit. We are thankful for the many blessings you give us and we get to celebrate that with family next week. Be with all of those who are traveling and bless them. Bring them back home safely and keep them in your care. Be with our teachers attending conference and bless their time learning and growing. Continue to bless St. John's in all ways and means.

We love you Jesus!

Build Them Up

"Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up." Romans 15:2 Dear Jesus, You build us up so that we can build others up. We praise you for your love and saving grace for us daily. May we use that love and grace to do good in our communities and to our neighbors. We want to transform the world in your name and for your glory. Jesus please forgive us our sins and provide us with a clear conscious that we may live in your love. Help us to avoid the traps of the devil and seek your face at all times. Thank you loving Savior for all of your goodness and mercy toward St. John's and our entire community.
