Set Free for Life

"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death." Romans 8:1-2

Dear heavenly Father,

Through you and you alone are we given freedom from sin and death. We praise you for releasing us from the consequences of death and into eternal life with you in heaven.

Although we deserve condemnation and death, you give us life. Thank you Father for your Son who forgave our sins with grace. May we always remember the great sacrifice you made on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins.

Thank you Father for all the many blessings you provide for our community each day. Thank you for the students and parents who make St. John's their school and church home. Thank you for the teachers who give selflessly for your sake.

Father continue to be with all of those that need your healing tough. Be with those who are mourning. Give us all direction to walk in your ways and to your glory. We love you Father!

  "Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth." I John 3:18 Dear Lord Jesus, You have loved us with the ultimate love. We praise and thank you for showing your love through your death and resurrection. You loved with the ultimate action and truth. We adore you for always putting us first. We belong to you O Lord! Although you have always loved us, we have strayed. We confess our sins of wrong-doing, neglect, and outright betrayal of your truth. Help us O Lord to seek you. Forgive us. Renew us. Lead us through our confession into repentance and then forgiveness through your great love. Thank you Lord Jesus for the blessings we see and those that you provide and we know nothing about.
