All Authority

"Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

Dear Jesus,

All authority has been given to you, and we put our whole lives into your hands. Let us not worry about anything, as you are with us until the very end. Lord we desire to proclaim your name and we praise you for your great works!

Although we fall short of your perfect order, Father, we seek forgiveness and grace. May your love never cease as we always look for ways to follow you closer. Because you are with us always, we strive to do our best.

Thank you Lord Jesus for being with us and keeping us safe. Thank you for many blessings of a great start to the school year! Thank you for all of our students at St. John's and the families that have chosen us. 

Lord, help us to always look to you. Be with us as learning ramps up and schedules get busy. Help us to not see the world, but to see you and your love to others. Be with those who mourn and are sick. Bring peace and healing to them. Be with those who need your peace and comfort over stress and anxiety. Bring them comfort. 

Jesus we love you!

Build Them Up

"Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up." Romans 15:2 Dear Jesus, You build us up so that we can build others up. We praise you for your love and saving grace for us daily. May we use that love and grace to do good in our communities and to our neighbors. We want to transform the world in your name and for your glory. Jesus please forgive us our sins and provide us with a clear conscious that we may live in your love. Help us to avoid the traps of the devil and seek your face at all times. Thank you loving Savior for all of your goodness and mercy toward St. John's and our entire community.
