Shout for Joy!


1 Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.

2     Worship the Lord with gladness;

    come before him with joyful songs.

3 Know that the Lord is God.

    It is he who made us, and we are his[a];

    we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.


4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving

    and his courts with praise;

    give thanks to him and praise his name.

5 For the Lord is good and his love endures forever;

    his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100

Father God,

You give us good gifts, so we shout to you, the Lord of Hosts, and give you the glory! We praise you for every good and perfect gift you give to us and our thankfulness overflows to you! Father, your courts are eternal for us and your goodness never fails. Thank you!

You give us all these good things although we don't deserve it. Forgive us our sins and grant us your grace and love through your son Jesus Christ.

Thankfulness overflows at this time of the year. May we be ever-thankful, even beyond the holidays. Thank you for always loving us; always giving toward us; always generous with us. Thank you for the gifts of family, friends, loved ones, and all those that show your love to us.

Father continue to be with all of those that need your healing touch. Calm the wars and feed the hungry. Provide peace and security and safety to us all and those around the world. May your name be praised in all of those times! Amen!

Build Them Up

"Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up." Romans 15:2 Dear Jesus, You build us up so that we can build others up. We praise you for your love and saving grace for us daily. May we use that love and grace to do good in our communities and to our neighbors. We want to transform the world in your name and for your glory. Jesus please forgive us our sins and provide us with a clear conscious that we may live in your love. Help us to avoid the traps of the devil and seek your face at all times. Thank you loving Savior for all of your goodness and mercy toward St. John's and our entire community. Thank you for keeping us safe and providing so many blessings. Be with us and continue to bless us throughout the end of the school year and beyond.
