The Gift of Grace!

"But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!" Romans 5:15

 Dear Jesus,

 Through you we have been saved! Through you, we have life eternal! Through you, we have freedom from fear! Thank you for the salvation that you so freely gave through your grace. May we always be grateful for the sacrifice you gave freely for us.

 Lord Jesus, you lived and died and rose again for us, may we remember all that you did for us and do for others in such a giving way. You have blessed us with much, so let us give to others a portion of what you have given to us. Help us be generous with our time, talents and resources.

 Lord of the universe, please be with all of the flood  victims in Texas. May the rain stop and the waters recede. Keep those affected safe. Keep the first responders safe and in your care. Help the recovery efforts to go quickly and with your will, done well and safely. Especially, be with our sister Lutheran schools in the Houston area. May those students, teachers, and families be blessed by what we can give in your name. Especially, be with Lutheran South Academy as they work toward recovery.

 Jesus, thank you for all that we have! Thank you for your grace and salvation!

Build Them Up

"Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up." Romans 15:2 Dear Jesus, You build us up so that we can build others up. We praise you for your love and saving grace for us daily. May we use that love and grace to do good in our communities and to our neighbors. We want to transform the world in your name and for your glory. Jesus please forgive us our sins and provide us with a clear conscious that we may live in your love.
