Build Together

19 Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. 21 In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. 22 And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. Ephesians 2:19-22

God, our Father,

You are an awesome God who has shown power and dominion in various ways. We praise you for having build us together, in your kingdom, through your power, into your people. We are ever thankful that we are yours through your Son, whom was raised from the dead to free us from our sins.

Although we confess that are sinful, we have a sin-less God. We confess our shortcomings and ask for your forgiveness when we do wrong. Thank you for our forgiveness!

Thank you for bringing the whole world into your love. May your Gospel message penetrate the hearts of all those around you so that more may feel the love and power of your Spirit. Thank you for St. John's Lutheran Church and School that we have the opportunity to proclaim your love and power daily.

God, our Father, please continue to be with all those who are hurting from illness and loneliness. Be with those your are healing and those who need help. Please continue to bless our school, students and families!

We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus!
Amen!
