Perfecter of Faith

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith." Hebrews 2:1-2a

 Perfecter of Faith,

 Through your great love you have called us out of darkness and into the light of your salvation! The witnesses to the faith that have gone before you help to show and tell of your great mercy and forgiveness. We are blessed by your love and care for us throughout all generations!

 Thank you for always looking forward into our futures and providing for us in ways that we don't even know. Help us to fix our eyes on you only as we venture into the future that you have prepared for us.

 You are an awesome God and we thank you for a wonderful VIP and Expression Explosion! Thank you for all the hands that helped prepare it and thank you for those attended to see the work of your hand through your children here at St. John's.

 Father, please be with all those who morn and hurt. Provide your healing touch to them. Be with us all and bless us in immeasurable ways!

 In your Son's name we pray, Amen!

Build Them Up

"Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up." Romans 15:2 Dear Jesus, You build us up so that we can build others up. We praise you for your love and saving grace for us daily. May we use that love and grace to do good in our communities and to our neighbors. We want to transform the world in your name and for your glory. Jesus please forgive us our sins and provide us with a clear conscious that we may live in your love. Help us to avoid the traps of the devil and seek your face at all times. Thank you loving Savior for all of your goodness and mercy toward St. John's and our entire community.
