Living Sacrifice

" Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12: 1-2

 Father, God:

 Your mercy is abundant in our lives and we are thankful for your goodness and love. We praise and thank you for your care in our lives. May your great name every be exalted!

 Although you are an awesome God, we fall short. Forgive us our shortcoming, Father. May we continue to live in the love your Son and always seek you when we succeed and when we fail.

 Thank you Father for your kindness and goodness to us. You have blessed us in so many ways. Thank you for a successful St. John's basketball tournament! Thank you for the success of the cheerleaders at their competition Sunday! Thank you for all of the dedicated families at St. John's!

 Father, please be with those who are ill and needing your healing. Be with Steve and Dave and they battle their illnesses. Be with all those students who have the flu or a cold. Be with the teachers to keep them healthy. Continue to bless us all!

 We pray this all in Jesus, your Son's, precious name. Amen!

"Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up." Romans 15:2 Dear Jesus, You build us up so that we can build others up. We praise you for your love and saving grace for us daily. May we use that love and grace to do good in our communities and to our neighbors. We want to transform the world in your name and for your glory. Jesus please forgive us our sins and provide us with a clear conscious that we may live in your love. Help us to avoid the traps of the devil and seek your face at all times. Thank you loving Savior for all of your goodness and mercy toward St. John's and our entire community.
