He loves me!

" You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
    you will trample the great lion and the serpent.14 “Because he[b] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
    I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name." Psalm 91:13-14

Lord, God, Heavenly Father,
In your great power you have trampled on the powers of the devil. You defeated death through the cross. You have recused us from the pit. For all these things we praise your Holy Name! We rest in your security and are thankful and awe-filled by your power and love. Lord God, you are the provider and protector. Praise the Lord!

Even though we don't deserve it, you love us. Even though we sin, you give us grace. Thank you Lord for forgiving our sins and cleansing us in your redeeming power.

Thank you Lord God for protection each day. Thank you for rescuing us from peril daily. Often we don't even know how you are taking care of us, but you protect and care for us anyway because you love us. Thank you almighty God for your awesome power!

Father, please be with all those that are sick and need your healing. Be with those that need peace and comfort and still their hearts and minds. We ask for your protection and guidance at St. John's. May our entire community live for you and you alone!
Amen!

We praise you for your love and saving grace for us daily. May we use that love and grace to do good in our communities and to our neighbors. We want to transform the world in your name and for your glory. Jesus please forgive us our sins and provide us with a clear conscious that we may live in your love. Help us to avoid the traps of the devil and seek your face at all times. Thank you loving Savior for all of your goodness and mercy toward St. John's and our entire community.
