He will Lift you Up!

 "For he will command his angels concerning you

    to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
    so that you will not strike your foot against a stone." Psalm 91:11-12

Father Almighty,

You are our protector and ever-present help. Your love for us flows so freely that you will not let the evil one harm us. We praise your amazing name for this! You guard us because you love us and for that you deserve our adoration. 

Although we don't deserve your love, you surround us with it anyway. You lift us up and love us despite of our sin. Forgive us of all of our sins and bring us ever closer to you.

Father we thank you for always having concern for us. You always have your angels around us. Thank you for being near us and loving us. Thank you for the protection we don't even know about and the love we cannot feel from you. You are our ultimate protector and we thank and praise you for it!

Continue, Father, to keep the devil and his evil spirits far from us. Keep us safe and walled in the fortress of your love and protection. Guard all of the families of St. John's in this way. Guard the staff with an extra measure so they can continue to proclaim your love to all around.

We love you and praise you! Amen!

Build Them Up

"Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up." Romans 15:2 Dear Jesus, You build us up so that we can build others up. We praise you for your love and saving grace for us daily. May we use that love and grace to do good in our communities and to our neighbors. We want to transform the world in your name and for your glory. Jesus please forgive us our sins and provide us with a clear conscious that we may live in your love. Help us to avoid the traps of the devil and seek your face at all times. Thank you loving Savior for all of your goodness and mercy toward St. John's and our entire community.
