Abounding in Love

"You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to you." Psalm 86:5

O Lord, our Lord:

How majestic is your name in all the earth. How wonderful are your works and your love. We praise you for your goodness, mercy, and love. Your creation displays your glory and we are in awe of your greatness.

Because we fall short of what we should do and who we should be, we call out to you. In humility, we call out and ask for your forgiveness and mercy. In great love you call us out of our darkness and into your arms. We are so thankful for your love!

Thank you Lord for all of your mercies, which are new each morning. Thank you for your care and concern for us. Thank you for the many, many blessings that you bestow on us each day. Thank you for St. John's students, staff, families, and those we have yet to reach, but are calling into our presence.

Lord, please continue to bless our church and school. Continue to send us staff who love you and proclaim your name. Guard and protect our students and their families from all harm and danger. We love you so much Lord!

Amen!

"Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up." Romans 15:2 Dear Jesus, You build us up so that we can build others up. We praise you for your love and saving grace for us daily. May we use that love and grace to do good in our communities and to our neighbors. We want to transform the world in your name and for your glory. Jesus please forgive us our sins and provide us with a clear conscious that we may live in your love. Help us to avoid the traps of the devil and seek your face at all times. Thank you loving Savior for all of your goodness and mercy toward St. John's and our entire community.
