Our King is Coming!

The advent of our King
Our prayers must now employ,
And we must hymns of welcome sing.
In strains of holy joy.

The everlasting Son
Incarnate deigns to be;
Himself a servant’s form puts on
To set His servants free.

All glory to the Son
Who comes to set us free,
With Father, Spirit, ever One,
Through all eternity. Amen!

 Father, King:

We praise you, our King for the glory you show us all at Christmas. From days of old you promised your Son, Jesus, and on Christmas day He came to earth. We praise God for Jesus and the salvation he brought.

We thank you that you have mercy on us each and everyday. May we ever be thankful for your forgiveness.

Thank you, our King, for your many blessings to St. John's and our students and families. We are in awe of our blessings. 

Please continue to be with all those who are sick. Please bring them healing strength and help. Continue to be with all our families and keep them safe during all of the holiday travels. Continue to bless our church and school!

Amen!

Build Them Up

"Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up." Romans 15:2 Dear Jesus, You build us up so that we can build others up. We praise you for your love and saving grace for us daily. May we use that love and grace to do good in our communities and to our neighbors. We want to transform the world in your name and for your glory. Jesus please forgive us our sins and provide us with a clear conscious that we may live in your love. Help us to avoid the traps of the devil and seek your face at all times. Thank you loving Savior for all of your goodness and mercy toward St. John's and our entire community.
